Monika Sąsiada

Legal Counsel


In 2008 she graduated from legal studies at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economy of the Wrocław University. In 2009 she graduated from post-graduate studies at the University of Economics, in Wroclaw, at the faculty Accountancy and Financial Control. In 2013 she was entered into the list of legal counsellors conducted by the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Opole. She has been cooperating with the law firm Waszczuk i Partnerzy since 2013. She has a good command of English.

Main areas of her activities include:

  • providing complex legal services for economic entities operating in production, services and commercial industry, including representation thereof in proceedings before ordinary courts and public administration bodies;
  • providing complex legal services for territorial self-government units and their organisational units, including budget units, budgetary agencies and municipal companies;
  • seeking damages both, from entities liable for suffered losses as well as obliged to provide remedy thereof (among others, from insurance agencies);
  • providing legal assistance within the Internet law – among others, drawing up rules for websites, privacy policies;
  • providing legal assistance within competition and consumers protection (among others conducting cases regarding declaring a sample for contractual provisions as unlawful, seeking damages from dishonest contractors);
  • providing legal assistance within housing law (providing services for housing communities, vindication of claims for payment of rent, eviction proceedings);
  • property succession and estate planning.
